#HowTo #Propagate #MonsteraDeliciosa
How To Propagate Monstrea Deliciosa Cuttings Easily! I tried using two different methods. Propagating monstera in water, and propagating cuttings in sphagnum moss! They both turned out great!
I also show how to pull new babies and get them started strong with water propagation. After watching this video I hope try and propagate your monstera deliciosa too!

This vid was great. I have a cutting in water but nothing much is happening. It’s been in there for about 3 weeks. Should I do anything different?
I usally put many cuts in the branch first then put in water.(it seems to make the plant grow faster).
Do you find you get juvenile unsplit leaves where you took the cuttings or does it usually bounce back with the big fenestrations?
The best videos of it all very detailed
How often do we need to change the water.
Another great video!!! Love your content
Noob here with a dumb question. How often do you water the moss?
Hi!!! Thanks for your help!!. One of my cuttings is showing roots!!!! Three of them currently!! The other four showed no signs yet. Hopefully soon! Thanks very much!!😁
Youre cute
Thank you for showing it without going over a million of other silly issues.
Great video. Appreciate that you include the progress and results of the propagation
you should mention the lighting conditions. What are the lighting you supplied to these? time?
Can you plant multiple cuttings in one pot for a fuller plant?
Im doing the water propagation. Its been weeks already and no roots growing. I'm hesitant to use the moss because my area is really hot and im not fond of using fungicides.
Very very nice and detail video
Can you do a video on how to propagate a fiddle leaf fig? please!
I love ur channel
Hi. How long for the baby plant to get spilt leaves? Thanks
Hi! Thanks for the informative video – you have a new subscriber 🙂 It would also be great if you could mention the ideal space where to grow these cutting, light and temperature.
These videos are so relaxing! It should be illegal for you to not have 1 Million subscribers.
Is it possible to get root rot doing the water method? If so how do you know root rot has happened and how do you fix/ prevent it?
For the sphagnum moss, how often do you water it? Is it supposed to stay moist? Thanks, let me know! I look forward to trying it!!
How confident are you about cutting off the aerial root?! I just got a cutting and the aerial root has white roots growing on it (I think they were keeping it in water). Nervous to cut it off…. Thanks!
I’m new to your channel, soI’ve been watching some of your videos. What’s bazaar is I was just thinking of some of my grandma’s plants she had when I was a kid, well I thought of this one because how big it was, and I was thinking of finding one.. My google search turned up nadda Becca I didn’t even know the name of said plant, then today I find this video! Thank you Sir for your content.
3rd method?
Awesome, I really need to try sphagnum for propagating, also is it possible to air layer a monstera? I'm worried mine might reach my low ceiling by the end of the summer.
Great Video! Very informative! Abit of noob here and am interested to learn, the area that you cut off on the parent plant, what happens to it? Does it grow out a new stem? Or does it just heal off? Curious to know what a parent plant wud look like after
Do you let the stem and aerial roots heal over where you cut them, or just place in water as-is?
How often do you water after you plant them? :0 does the soil need to stay moist when transitioning from water propagation?
i love these videos SOOOOOO much. please never stop making them
hi there. i just wanted to find out, at what point should i expect to see roots forming?
Thanks for the really good tips! Do you let the cuttings callous first before dunking them in water/moss or do you just put them in straight away? Thanks!
hey I wanted too know if I can use 75 watt led grow light for nepenthes and a sundew and Venus flytraps I am doing a terrarium I have fans waiting for knew likes and I am putting pieces of plexiglass on. would I be able too just lay the lights on top of plexiglass please help thank you
Hey, man! Very new to this. If I have no moss, could I use Orchid substrate? To my noob eye they seem like the same spongy, aerated thing. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I take it your a wet shaver too huh bud, would be no other reason to have double edge blades just sitting around haha.
Great content! Please keep making more!!
WOW! They look Great! Can this plant be outside for the Summer?
I am still waiting for my monstera tu pot out some new leaves so I can propagate it 😀 but it kinda stuck and doesnt want to grow 😀
Your guides are simply the best, so many plant youtubers making guides on a day and you actually take the time to film the whole LONG process, that’s dedication. Do you have Instagram?
This is fantastic! Thank you for showing everything from the cutting, roots and growth on the mama plant! 💕
Great video! I just re-potted my monstera last week because it was outgrowing its pot similarly to yours, but on a smaller scale. How long have you had that monstera for it to have grown that much?
Thanks for the video. Btw did you repot your mother plant later? ;D
